Bay to Bay is the debut album from The K&K Jazz Ensemble: pianist Kelly Park and trumpeter Konstantins Jemeljanovs, two Berklee alumni who met on the San Francisco Bay Area scene after Konstantins arrived from Riga. Ten tracks, nine of them originals, with guests Bob Sheppard and Tom E. Politzer on saxophone, Jeff Denson on bass and Gary Novak and Michael Henning on drums. Recorded and mixed at Whip Records in Berkeley by David Whipple, with one track cut in Los Angeles and another with the rhythm section recorded in Latvia.
